Terms of Service

We take the menu you send us, set it out as a web page, and publish it at an address of the form quickmenu.uno/yourplace. We supply a QR code that points at that address.

We do not take orders, take payments from your guests, or manage your tables. If that changes we will say so here first.

QuickMenu is new. During early access we build and host menus at no charge. We may introduce charges later, and if we do we will tell you in writing before any charge applies to you.

We will never take a payment from you without asking first, and we will not switch off a menu simply because you decide not to pay for one. We will keep it available for a reasonable period and give you your content.

Everything you send us — dish names, descriptions, prices, photographs, your logo and your colours — remains yours. By sending it you give us permission to reproduce and publish it as your menu page, and to show it as an example of our work unless you ask us not to.

You confirm that you have the right to give us what you send, and that publishing it does not breach anybody else's rights.

We reproduce what you give us. We do not check whether a price is right, whether a dish is available, or whether an allergen mark is correct, and we cannot do so.

You remain responsible for the accuracy of your menu and for meeting the food information and allergen rules that apply where you trade. A QuickMenu page is not a substitute for the allergen information you are required to hold and to give your guests.

Where your menu offers alcohol, you remain responsible for the licensing rules that apply to advertising and selling it.

Send us a change and we will publish it, normally within a few hours during working days. Ask us to take a page down and we will remove it.

We may remove or refuse content that is unlawful, that infringes somebody's rights, or that we reasonably believe would expose us to liability. We will tell you why.

We work to keep published menus available at all times, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Hosting, maintenance and matters outside our control can interrupt it.

We are not responsible for losses caused by an interruption. If a page is down for an unreasonable period during a paid arrangement, tell us and we will put it right.

The QuickMenu name, logo and the design and code of the pages we build remain ours. You may use the QR codes and the link we give you freely, in print and online, for as long as your menu is published with us.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for loss arising from an error in the content you supplied. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or, where you have paid nothing, to a reasonable amount reflecting the free nature of the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

We may update these terms. The version date at the top of this page always shows the current one, and we will tell customers about a material change by email before it takes effect.
